Mixed Media prints at Trillium Graphics:

Over the years we have worked with many different artists locally and from around the world on a vast array of projects. At times the projects have evolved outside the capability of a single media or printmaking technique and we have either collaborated with the artists to develop a new process or simply combined multiple techniques to reach the desired outcome.

For example recently we have been combining digital printing on transparency with handmade wooden boxes, gold leaf and acrylic resin to make beautiful, layered pieces for bay area artist Hung Liu, who then does hand painting on top as a finishing touch.

This is by no means the end to our creative approach to artistic problem solving, however, we have also printed on silk and had it mounted to silk scrolls, created and assembled collage materials, made three dimensional objects, combined numerous printmaking mediums... and that's just a small sample of what we've done, not to mention what we have yet to do!
